Two Official Test Versions Supported
CitiPrep supports both versions of the USCIS Civics Test. The 2008 version, which applies to applicants who filed Form N-400 before October 20, 2025, presents 10 random questions from a pool of 100 civics questions—you must answer at least 6 correctly to pass. The 2025 version, for applicants filing after October 20, 2025, presents 20 random questions from an expanded pool of 128 questions—you must answer at least 12 correctly to pass. Select your test version when you start, and CitiPrep automatically adjusts the session length and passing criteria.
